*Job description*

The sales representative is part of the team that is centered on recognizing customer needs and providing, a close, responsive service relationship with them.
The position is structured so that the successful team member will experience continued improved compensation based on sustained improved sales performance over several years.
The position is focused on continuing to cultivate the present customers while heavily focused on developing new customers and new sales territories. In summary the successful Sales Associate will meet sales goals within budget costs, be an active, collaborative member of the sales team, seek out and share market intelligence, sell to customer needs and represent Custom Bilt Metals professionally.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (*Other duties may be assigned.)
Develop new business opportunities in support of sales goals and acquire new customer accounts
Responsible for developing and delivering sales presentations to prospects, customers and partners
Manage inbound Rainware customer calls and assist customer with identifying appropriate products
Responsible for entering and maintaining customer sales orders in both Sales Force and ERP systems
Identify key projects for bid and lead the effort to develop and submit project bid proposals.
Participate in the project quotation efforts
Work with the Branch team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects that meet customer expectations
Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Provides management team input to help establish sales goals for assigned area and drive sales achievement; monitors monthly, quarterly and annual achievement of plan
Monitor and evaluate industry trends, activities, competitor product lines and competitive pricing issues as it pertains to the company and its products
*QUALIFICATIONS*
The successful sales representative is driven, inquisitive individual who is ambitious and seeks to chart their own career path. They should possess high personal integrity, irrepressible drive for personal success, and motivated by their success. Ideally, they are inquisitive while having a great ability at conversation.
*EXPERIENCE/SKILLS*
Some previous sales experience in a related industry preferred but not essential
Strong phone presence and experience with high call volumes
Positive attitude and a team player
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
